vacation home in Oregon

I am looking to get away for a few weeks this summer to do some writing, as well as some outdoor play with a few of my favorite boys. I need a vacation rental that is remote(within a couple hours of Portland would be best), by some sort of natural water and reasonably priced for an extended stay. Do you know of such a place? If someone owns property somewhere perhaps I could put my minions to work doing landscaping, cleaning and doing property repairs in exchange. All I know is I need to get out of the city and fast. I am not looking to spend a lot of money, the location is more important than the decadence of the rental property.
